Radio Control (RC) World

So I am wondering what weight oil should I run in my savage? We have a pretty wide open and smooth track if that helps. I know how to tune my buggy diffs but not my MT diffs.

Is there any device that will safely drop the voltage of say a 11.1 lipo to 8.4v while still delivering the maximum current? I know there are adjustable IC voltage regulators but I don’t know if there are high current ones.:(

I just got bite by the 1/10 electric buggy.
Got a RTR b4, is the stock motor and esc combo ok-or good to run?
I am using nimh batteries, 1500 & 2000.
My local track requires hard case LIPO that is so expensive?
Do you have any recommendation for a good regular non lipo batteries?

just like to know if anyone knows much about this new speed controll been thinking of getting one but onlyl know of one person who has one, he said best thing since sliced bread but I wold like to hear from 0thers,, thanks, Tom

Over the weekend I broke in my .21 Sirio motor. All went well. I started the motor yesterday without a hitch. Tonight I went to a freshly paved parking lot to do some practice runs and couldn’t bump start the motor.

I bought one of these off of ebay, they are pretty cheap and parts are dirt cheap, I know you get what you pay for but hey its worth a try. I got mine cheap because it was sligltly used.\
