how do you use and maintain ceramic diff balls?

i just got a pack of 1/8″ ceramic diff balls from speedzoneusa for my rc12r5 and was wondering if i need to use a different grease, do i adjust tension differently? will these balls grind away at my diff rings?

any advice about using ceramic diff balls would be welcome.
